SQL Compact Error Message

There are times when you will receive the following error message: “Cannot open ‘XXXInfraWareITCv2009InfraWare_ITC.sdf’. Provider ‘System.Data.SqlServerCe.3.5’ not installed (Where XXX is a filepath)" .  The SQL Compact software is used by the ITC so therefore is a  required component. This error message indicates either the software is not installed on your computer or the software is in an unusable state.

In order to remediate the issue, you will need to install the SQL Compact software by performing the following steps:

1. Go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?familyid=85E0C3CE-3FA1-453A-8CE9-AF6CA20946C3&displaylang=en to install the software
2. Reboot your computer
3. Try running the InfraWare ITC again
