How do I setup a VPN with InfraWare?

Answer / Solution

How to setup a VPN with InfraWare

Overview

A VPN (virtual private network) is an optional way for InfraWare to communicate with your network securely over the public Internet. This technology is often used to support interfaces between the InfraWare 360 platform and EMR/EHR systems at customer locations.  (The most popular alternative to using a VPN is to use SFTP to transfer documents securely.)

Solution

  • When setting up a VPN with InfraWare, your network security specialist and InfraWare's datacenter operations personnel will need to share and agree on some technical information.  The Excel worksheet attached to the article contains a form to be used for that purpose.  Please complete the form and submit it to support@infraware.com

Important: Reference the InfraWare Account (who contracts with InfraWare) as well as the healthcare facility, if different.
