No, InfraWare is NOT an MTSO. We are NOT owned by an MTSO, nor do we compete with MTSOs. We are in business to SERVE medical transcription service organizations.
2. How was the InfraWare medical transcription software developed?
The fast, powerful, easy-to-use InfraWare software was developed with modern Windows software techniques with input from hundreds of medical transcriptionists. Our platform enables MTSOs to quickly and accurately produce more lines of transcription with each MT.
3. Is InfraWare’s medical transcription software HIPAA compliant?
Yes, InfraWare’s medical transcription software follows the federal security requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) to protect the privacy of patient healthcare information.
4. Does InfraWare offer speech recognition technology (SRT)?
Yes, InfraWare offers optional back-end speech recognition technology to deliver a first draft text document to medical transcriptionists. InfraWare’s powerful software downloads these first drafts and empowers the MT with easy-to-use editing and correction tools for faster document production.
5. Does InfraWare interface with electronic health records (EHRs)?
Yes, InfraWare can interface with most EHR formats and supports a number of other document delivery options such as secure FTP, fax and remote printing.
6. Does InfraWare interface with dictation systems?
Yes, InfraWare’s platform has built-in dictation options including telephone and handheld personal digital recorders (PDR) and can also import digital audio files from many third-party systems.
7. Does InfraWare offer electronic signature (e-Sign)?
Yes, InfraWare offers an electronic signature option to enhance workflow productivity. Physicians log on to our EHR Web Portal to view transcribed reports and e-Sign, edit or reject them. Once a document is e-Signed, a time and date stamp is applied as well as an optional image of the physician’s actual handwritten signature.
8. How does InfraWare improve turnaround time (TAT)?
InfraWare removes many of the manual steps that consume management hours and hours against the TAT clock with automated job routing and delivery of appointment lists and ADT information. By eliminating common inefficiencies in transcription workflow and reducing manual, repetitive tasks, InfraWare helps MTSOs increase productivity, revenue and customer satisfaction.
9. What training does InfraWare provide?
To help you get the best results from our feature-rich software, InfraWare provides a series of Web-based training sessions using online web conferences. For owners/administrators, we typically provide three training sessions, each lasting approximately 90 minutes. For medical transcriptionists, we provide two sessions. We also offer optional on-site training.
