This week (today and tomorrow) is advocacy week for the medical transcription industry (CDIA and AHDI associations).  I attended last year and thoroughly enjoyed meeting with members of Congress, the U.S. Senate and their legislative aids.  This year, I have to miss the event, but I think it is very important and I appreciate and respect the work my industry peers are doing on Capitol Hill at this time.  We simply must help legislators and regulators understand the importance of our industry and how we represent the most economical way to achieve meaningful use.
